These Terms of Use (“Agreement”) govern your use of My Digital Business Card (“Service”, or sometimes, “DBC”), the project under the URL https://makemy.contact/. This Agreement is a legally binding contract between you and My Digital Business Card.
You must be at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent or guardian to use our Service.
As a user, you may submit personal information including but not limited to your name, job title, contact details, website URL, links to your social profiles, and an image (“User Information”). By submitting this information, you grant us the right to use it to create your web-based Digital Business card and to handle it in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the information you submit.
Removing outdated and adding new information upon your request requires additional time and work, and shall be paid additionally.
People can retire, die, or stop needing to use the Digital Business Card for multiple other reasons.
Because of this, and also to provide for the web hosting services that we use to keep the makemy.contact platform with your DBC available online, we will apply a token amount of €1 as an annual recurring fee.
This amount shall be paid annually starting from the 2nd year of using your DBC.
Example:
We will use the provided User Information to create a digital business card (“Business Card”) that you can save to your smartphone and share with others via a pop-up QR code.
You can understand the experience, that people will have with your Digital Business Card, by trying this sample business card here: https://makemy.contact/samantha-bricks/ (This is a sample! This person does not exists, and their contact details are fake!)
You retain ownership of the User Information you submit. We have the right to use, display, and distribute the Business Card created from this information.
Please don’t use our Service for any illegal, harmful, or unethical purposes.
Please don’t use our Service to send unsolicited messages.
You can stop using our Service at any time. We may also terminate your access for violating these terms.
We respect your privacy and will handle your information as described in our Privacy Policy.
Like most websites, we use cookies. You can manage these in your browser settings.
We may update these terms from time to time.
To avoid unsolicited messaging, we will not send you new terms. Instead, we’ll post the updated terms here, indicating the date of the update.
The initial contact is effected via completing the submission form on the home page. After that, we will reply to you at the e-mail you’ve provided, so make sure that the e-mail address is correct.
While we take every precaution to ensure the security and smooth operation of our service, we cannot guarantee that our website will be free from unauthorized access by third parties, or that technical issues beyond our control will not occur. By using our service, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with online services, including but not limited to the potential for data breaches or disruptions in service due to unforeseen circumstances.
We will make reasonable efforts to promptly address and rectify any technical issues that may arise. However, we disclaim any liability for damages or losses that may result from such incidents.
